`U-turn`  residential studio | 3rd year | advisor: Arch Ohad Yehieli

residential Studio dealt with the issue of future densification Tel Aviv. The challenge was to multiply the residential density in the “wholesale market complex” in Tel Aviv for a future scenario taking place in 2050.  The complex included commerce, employment, leisure and housing inherent in a design system that seeks to address the climatic and environmental problems that will accompany Tel Aviv in 2050. There are two types of apartments in the complex: couple apartments and family apartments, which are carefully adapted to the needs of the inhabitants. For the sake of density, the apartments were required to have the maximum functionality in the minimum square meter, and for this purpose the 'closet trunk' was invented from which all the necessary functions for living are pulled out.
